AFFF 3-6% Fire Fighting Foam- Aqueous Film Forming Foam is effective on all types of Class A and Class B fires except alcohols and polar solvent.
- Operates by creating a barrier between the fuel and the air supply, cools the surface of the fuel to reduce overall heating and ignition potential and then allows water droplets to penetrate more deeply and at a higher concentration which "makes the water wetter"
- Use at 3 or 6%.

- Use at 3% on hydrocarbons such as gasoline, diesel fuel and fuel oil
- Use at 6% on polar solvent like methyl alcohol, isopropyl alcohol and acetone.
